                                    LA JUNTA RACEWAY     -       MINIMUM TECH REQUIREMENTS          

​1  RESTRAINTS  - OEM 3-point minimum
2  MIRROR  - One Driver visible rear view mirror minimum.
3  INTERIOR  - No loose items. Trunk/cargo area, under/behind seats, glove compartment, center console,
                          ashtray, door pockets, removable dash mats.
​4  FLOORMATS  - Mats with OEM attachment to vehicle floor are acceptable. Aftermarket or loose mats must
                                be removed prior to track entry. 
5  BRAKE LIGHTS  - One functional brake light minimum.
6  BRAKE FLUID  - 12 months maximum age of fluid. Any signs of moisture content or degradation mandates 
                                 fluid change. Preferably DOT-4.
7  BRAKE PADS  - Brake pads minimum thickness 3/16" 
8  ROTORS  - No excessive cracks or obvious visible defects. 
9  TIRES/WHEELS  - Tread depth 3/32" minimum. Sufficient Tread Rubber on inside/outside shoulders.
                                     Dry rot and cracking rubber not acceptable. No obvious physical defects of wheels.
10  LUG NUT TORQUE  - OEM factory specification minimum.
11  WHEEL BEARINGS  - No lateral movement.
12  STEERING LINKAGE  - Nothing loose. No excessive play in steering wheel.
13  SUSPENSION  - Nothing loose. Shocks/struts not leaking. 
14  HUBCAPS REMOVED  - Non-mechanically attached hubcaps must be removed. (snap fit, etc.)
15  FLUID LEAKS  - No dripping fluid leaks. Damp areas on powertrain/driveline components are acceptable.
                                  Absolutely no Fuel or Brake system leaks.
16  COOLING SYSTEM  - No distressed or bulging hoses. Belts in good condition.
17  BATTERY RESTRAINT  - Battery must be securely mounted. 
18  EXHAUST SYSTEM  - Nothing loose.
19  BODY PANELS  - No loose panels. No loose trim pieces.
20  HELMET  - Undamaged, current Snell recommended, DOT acceptable.
